The Authentic Woman – With Host Shannon Fisher
About the Show:
The Authentic Woman – Perspectives on the Female Experience in America is a weekly radio show (also available by podcast) airing Sunday nights at 8:00 pm EST/EDT on the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. This broadcast, hosted by women’s rights leader Shannon Fisher, explores every aspect of the female experience – society, politics, career, family, finance, spirituality, creative expression and sexuality.
Interviewing both well-known public figures and everyday Janes (and Joes), Shannon delves deeply into the world of writers, artists, community leaders and celebrities. Each week, Shannon and her guests immerse themselves in the ideas that have sculpted their own personal perspectives – and their cultural and societal experience as a whole.
The Authentic Woman is a sounding board from which guests can dish about their lives, their work, their joys and their struggles. From historical figures to fictional characters to well-known personalities, we all have a story to tell. This radio show is the time and place to tell it.

We want to offer a wide variety of topics and guests to ensure we touch our listeners on a personal level, as well as offering a platform for public discussion about the important issues we face on the global stage.
